Victorian Cast Iron Fireplace Insert

Decorative Victorian fireplace insert featuring 1883 copyright T & R Boote 'Ages of Man' (Childhood, Youth, Manhood) tiles. Outside dimensions are 37.5" x 37.5". Finished face (not covered by mantel) measures 33" x 33". It fits into an opening 31"+ wide x 32"+ high and is 10" deep. Has a functional ratchet damper. Needs a small painted masonite or plywood panel to fill the void at lower rear of the firebox or needs ceramic fibre board or refractory tile inserted for practical use. Fireplace insert can be aged and distressed by Scenics to suit. Must be restored to original for return.
